Just had the best experience with Polar Bear Furnace and AC. We needed to replace both our AC and furnace and had numerous contractors come out to provide an estimate. Polar Bear was the only company (thank you Derek), that pointed out my very old ductwork was actually not allowing the system to work properly (creating hot and cold spots throughout the house). Let me first say I could not be more pleased with how everything went with the people from Polar Bear. We had Polar Bear install a new A/C unit for our house, having no existing system prior. The unit iced over on the first day of use and we were pretty upset at spending thousands of dollars on a unit that didn’t work, but we called the company and they sent Derek back to see what the problem was and the owner was very responsive and professional to get the problem resolved at his own expense, living up to their promise of a guaranteed price. Derek realized the house was not built with enough air returns in place (some ducts were simply tapped into walls with no return) so he installed two new returns at no added cost to us. Now the system is working perfectly and the house is very comfortable. Not only that but our existing heating system should work better too. Both technicians (Derek and Derrick—maybe spelled wrong?) were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations to our house’s needs. Would recommend Polar Bear to anyone looking for heating and cooling!
Dylan came to help us identify & fix an issue we have been trying to figure out for MONTHS. From the moment I called & spoke to the very sweet receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!!) to when Dylan showed up & explained everything to me with what he found… everyone was just great to work with. Don't call anyone else and waste your time. This HVAC company is great. We had another company come out that offered free estimates and they were more than double. Polar Bear offered the initial consultation fee back (in the form of a credit) if you spent more than a thousand and half back if you spent more than five hundred, which we felt was totally fair. We had them do the work and their installer was friendly, knowledgeable and ontime. Project came in on target and we got our initial consultation fee credited back on the final bill. The AC is back up and running and we couldn't be happier. Thanks Polar Bear for running a reputable, honest, fair business.
My daughter and grandson just moved into a new apartment. The AC was not keeping up with the heat, continually rising throughout each day, even on cooler days. She called the landlord and they scheduled Polar Bear to come check it out. Dylan Oakes arrived at the door. Polar Bear was so great! Our heat went out on a Friday night after they technically had closed. It was supposed to get down to 2 degrees that night and by the time we noticed our house was already at 56 degrees. They came out right away on an emergency call and had us back up and running and WARM within 20 minutes! Would highly recommend them as they were also kind and accommodating!

Me and mt wife just started renting a house in Fountain CO. Only 4 days in and our AC unit caught fire. My land lord hired Polar Bear to come and repair the damage. My first time using Polar Bear Mechanical. Very pleased with the timely, friendly, and professional service of my Daikin Mini-split system. It had been several years since my last service and one of the interior heads had a very dirty blower motor and just recently had started leaking water inside the house (plugged drain line). Dylan thoroughly cleaned that head and cleared the drain blockage quickly, then checked the other head and the outdoor compressor to verify that all was OK with them. I appreciated his friendliness and patience in answering my many questions. I also like the e-mail reminders confirming the service date and time window and that Dylan gave me a call when he was on his way within the scheduled service window. Another thing I appreciate about Polar Bear is that they do not push “service contracts” like so many other HVAC companies are doing these days---they just come when needed and do a great job (and a real live person answers the phone!!!)
